A few words on this website’s update
Whilst it may appear to regular visitors using PC’s or Mac’s that all is more or less as it has been for the past 3+ years with regards to presentation, our website has in fact just undergone fundamental restructuring. The ever-increasing use of smartphones and tablets to access the site could not be ignored. We have seen a rise in the number of visitors using mobile devices, commencing at 8% and now standing at 52%. To address this development, the site has been made ‘responsive’ in that it automatically adapts to suit any mobile device regardless of make, model, operating system or orientation. When viewed on smaller screens the presentation will be found to be quite different, however the content remains the same. Other detail improvements have also been carried out.
As the entire content has to some degree been revisited, we would request that all contributors just run an eye over their article, advertisement, event or whatever and, if you notice something not as you wish, please contact the Webmaster who has been deeply involved throughout. Of course we ourselves have already done this but, by the laws of averages, something may well have slipped through unnoticed.
We hope that all will be pleased with the overall improvements that we have made.
