I was born in Huish Episcopi and have lived here all my life. I am in fact the fifth generation of our family that has lived in the parish.
Throughout my working life I have been a plumber, initially working in my own business and latterly for a Housing Association. Recently I retired and thus feel well placed to try to give something back to the community, serving on the Parish Council would, I feel, be a good way to do this.
I am keen to help and support clubs and associations in Huish Episcopi / Langport and have been closely involved with the cricket club whilst my Son played for them over many seasons.
My wife and I have one of the local allotments, we keep bees and enjoy spending time tending the growing vegetables.
My hobbies include observing wildlife and walking, I am also passionate about photography.
My aim would be to do all that I can in supporting our village of Huish Episcopi and the people that are lucky enough to live here.
Specific responsibilities: Community, Allotments Liaison, Environment (inc footpaths)
