We are a village cricket club who have been in existence since 1839, offering people of all ages the chance to participate in the sport in a welcoming, friendly environment.
Situated opposite Huish Episcopi Academy in Langport, we are lucky to have one of the most picturesque playing grounds in the area and are very proud to call it our home.
We are also fortunate to be able to use the excellent playing facilities in Curry Rivel, where our 3rd XI play their home matches.
The club runs 3 senior league teams, all playing on Saturdays throughout the summer in the Shrubbery Somerset Cricket League and a Sunday team who play friendly matches against other local clubs.
In addition to our senior sides, we actively work with local schools in order to increase participation in cricket in the local area. To achieve this the Club has a designated Youth Development Officer and a dedicated team of volunteer coaches and assistants who help to run teams at under 11, 13, 14 and 15 years of age for Boys and Girls. The Club has achieved ECB Focus and Club Mark Club status.
We will always welcome new members of any age, gender or ability so if you are interested in playing, sponsoring or just supporting the club please visit www.handlcc.com for more details.
