Cricket is a game for all, offering access and opportunity to people of any age, gender, race, physical ability, social or ethnic background.
Cricket has no boundaries. We think that’s worth protecting so come along and support our club.
We at Huish & Langport Cricket Club following the immense COVID-19 period we have all being in are very much looking forward to another season commencing in May although still under imposed restrictions we will be playing the great summer game.
We do hope once again to getting youths from the age of 8 years and upward to join the club and enjoy coaching training sessions and to play a few actual matches. The clubs aim and objective would be to have actual teams playing in a local organized league in 2022 but to achieve this we are always dependent on those willing to play this great game.
We have qualified coaches who offer their vast skills to coach the youth and seniors in an interest to both enhance and improve skills they have. Actual coaching days will be confirmed as and when we have numbers joining.
Many youth players from the most recent years are playing in the clubs senior league teams so why not try to reach these goals in the future.
So should you know any budding individuals who would like a go and join our most active club or if you know anyone for the older aged groups please come and join our club. We would also encourage youth parents to come along and get involved in volunteer roles.
Should you be interested in joining a most active club in youth sections or at senior level please make contact with me Toby Strang - 01458 272191 or 07783134498 or Jim Banks – Youth Development officer on 07779345620 / 01458 899431 come on let’s see you at HLCC field road ground in Langport.
