Cricket is a game for all, offering access and opportunity to people of any age, gender, race, physical ability, social or ethnic background.
Cricket has no boundaries. We think that’s worth protecting so come along and support are club.
Following the 2019 “World Cup” victory and the pulsating summer Test matches versus Australia and Somerset County team performances it’s time that we see new members joining our club.
We at Huish & Langport Cricket Club at the conclusion of the present season are very much looking forward to the 2020 and other seasons, and would encourage new talent from youth ages to senior team members.
With much new local housing estates and ongoing build continuing, we fill there must be some budding players just bursting to join the club and play the wonderful and great summer sport.
We have an excellent ground and playing surface for both match and practice which are tended and prepared by club volunteers who are giving their time for members to enjoy.
Actual League matches are played on Saturday and Sunday afternoons from 1.30pm, youth matches subject to league confirmed entries are played on Thursday and Friday evenings and Sunday mornings of course subject to numbers wishing to play.
So should you know any budding individuals who would like a go and join our most active club within the various age groups or if you know anyone for the older aged groups please come and join our club. We would also encourage youth parents to come along and get involved in volunteer roles.
Should you be interested in joining a most active club in 2020 at senior team or youth sections please make contact with me Toby Strang - 01458 272191 or 07783134498 come on let’s see you at HLCC field road ground in Langport.
