Our village of Huish Episcopi lies in the heart of Somerset. We have good recreational facilities and schools for children of all ages. There are fine level walks, cycle ways and footpaths beside the beautiful River Parrett. The boundary of Huish Episcopi is extensive and not easily understood, for clarification please click here. The town of Langport is nearby and within a 15-mile radius lie the larger towns of Taunton, Yeovil, Bridgwater and Street with its popular Clark's Village. The major roads M5 and A303 are readily accessible. We have the magnificent St. Mary’s Church, Huish Episcopi, with its south porch entry dating from the mid-1100s and a window depicting the Nativity Scene designed by Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones, a leading painter and designer of the late 19th Century. This window attracts visitors from around the world.
