Vote For The Angel / Langport Cares to Help Them win £1000

FIVE HUNDRED £1000 prizes will be awarded to charities with the most votes cast by supporters between now and Sunday 13th June. ........

So just a quick request in the hope you might spare a minute to vote for our work at THE ANGEL and with LANGPORT CARES our community volunteer service that has been delivering prescriptions, arranging lifts, offering a helping hand where needed, running a shopping service and preparing /delivering lunches to those particularly challenged by the restrictions since last March, including people living with dementia and disabilities, recovering from hospital stays or just plain lonely because of lockdowns.

Over the last year we've added a FOOD BANK too offering continued support for all those who are finding it hard to make ends meet either through loss of work or business or reduction in regular earnings, ill health,...... we take referrals from health visitors, Village Agents, CAB, CAP, probation service.............

Although The ANGEL has not been open as a cafe, we have been able to open throughout as restrictions allow in the new community room with platform lift for access for those with disabilities to run much needed support groups for up to 15 for those living with dementia and their carers, mental health issues, and most recently the return of Angel Company, a group who are delighted to gather safely for a socially distanced lunch in a warm, well ventilated room..
Voting is free, at no cost to you, apart from a minute or two of your time.

To support us please click https://movementforgood.com/#nominateACharity  and enter our charity number 1106686 in the search box.

We have won in the past, you may well have helped us before and with your help, hopefully we can win again.

If you are able to forward this message to friends and family, please do, as they say every little helps.

Thank you in anticipation!

Rector of Aller, High Ham with Low Ham,
